Sabina Litchfield Dies In Macomb

Miss Sabina Litchfield, 88, of Macomb died at 8:05 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 1980, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

She was born April 18, 1892, in Astoria, the daughter of Manford T. and Adelaide Bryan Litchfield.

She received her Registered Nurses training from Holmes Hospital in Macomb. She was a nurse at the Methodist Hospital in Peoria for 20 years, moving to Macomb in 1966. She also resided in California for several years. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two brothers, Millard of Mesa, Ariz., and Dewey of Industry; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Frank and Clarence; and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Ball.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Clugston Funeral Home with Rev. Claude Curry officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
