Mrs. Della C. Litchfield, 87, of Rushville died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, June 29, 1980, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
Born Dec. 30, 1892, at Bluff City, a daughter of Elmer and Mary Jane Shaw Curless, she married James D. Litchfield at Rushville Dec. 14, 1912. He died May 1, 1928.
Surviving are two daughters, Ileen and Mary Elizabeth Litchfield, both at home; two sisters, Mrs. Ora Burdick of Assumption and Mrs. Nettie Slaight of Havana; two brothers, B. C. Curless of Peru and Verne Curless of Table Grove; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at the Bluff City Church. Burial was in the Bluff City Cemetery.
