Mrs. Ida Lind of Astoria died at 5:43 a.m. Monday, Mar. 24, 1980, in the Astoria Care Center, two days before her 102nd birthday.
She was born Mar. 26, 1878, in Astoria, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Lockard. She was first married to Fred Kost June 18, 1902, and he preceded her in death. She later married Dorsey Lind on June 16, 1942, and he also preceded her in death. Surviving are one son, Troy Kost of Astoria; one daughter, Mrs. Laura Danner of Gilson; one stepson, Donald Lind of Tremont; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Lind was a member of the Astoria Christian Church and of the Order of Eastern Star Lodge at Astoria.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at the grave in Astoria Cemetery, with Rev. Ray Artrip officiating.
Friends may call at Shawgo Memorial Home at Astoria for one hour before services.
