VeteranHavana Soldier Killed In Cambodia

Larry Ladd, 24, a soldier from Havana, was killed in action in Cambodia on Friday.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Freida Ebbert) Ladd and the grandson of Mrs. Glen Ebbert of 501 W. Adams St., Macomb. He was born near Ipava.

He entered service in August, 1969, and was sent overseas.

The Ebberts are former Astoria residents.

Services Saturday For Larry Ladd

Funeral services for Larry Ladd, Havana soldier who was killed in action in Cambodia, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana.

Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.

Mr. Ladd was killed while he was setting explosives around the perimeter of his unit’s night campsite in Cambodia.

He was the son of Joseph and Freida Ebbert Ladd of Havana.
