Pauline Kirkbride, 94, of Belle Fourche, S.D., died Wednesday, April 18, 2001, at Belle Fourche Long Term Health Care Center.
She was born July 26, 1906, in Vermont, a daughter of Willis and Lillian Easley McCormick. She married Merle Kirkbride on Sept. 25, 1933. He died in 1983.
She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Margot Erickson; one grandson; one sister, Amy Smith; and one brother, Hale McCormick on April 28, 2001.
She is survived by one sister, Ramona Alvadj of Champaign; one son-in-law, Wally Erickson of South Dakota; two grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
She and her husband moved to Belle Fourche in 1947. They operated a flower shop and greenhouse in Elkhorn until retirement in the late 1960s.
She was a lifetime member of P.E.O. since 1927.
Graveside services were held April 23, 2001, at the Pine Slope Cemetery in Bell Fourche.
