Donald Kopp

Donald Max Kopp, 80, of Ipava, died at 6:40 p.m. Monday, July 17, 1995, at his home.

He was born May 6, 1915, in Ipava, a son of Marcellus and Flora Belle Robertson Kopp. He married Ethel M. Reed on Sept. 10, 1938, in Maryland. She died March 31, 1980. He also was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Surviving are one daughter, Karen Brown of Havana; two grandsons, J.R. Onion of Leesburg, Fla., and Jamie Brown of Havana; two granddaughters, Jody Onion of Rochelle and Julie Onion of Glen Ellyn; and three great-grandchildren.

He was a retired carpenter and also retired from the Ipava Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of the Havana Ducks Camping Club.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava, where visitation will be one hour before services. Rev. James A. Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Ipava Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
