James Austin Onion Jr., 43, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Havana, died April 19, 2006, at John C. Lincoln North Mountain Hospital in Phoenix following a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife, Christina; two sons, Preston and Doolin of Phoenix; his father, James A. Onion of Harrisburg, Pa., formerly of Summum; two sisters, Jody Onion of Rockford and Julie Lynch of San Diego, Calif.; two half sisters, Rebecca Onion and Amanda Onion, both of Chicago; one half brother, Jamie Brown of Havana; one stepbrother, Artie Schwaegerman of Compton; and one stepsister, Heidi Onion of Plainfield.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Kopp Brown.
Cremation has been accorded. Best Funeral Services Inc., North Central Chapel of Phoenix was in charge of arrangments.
