Roy Kinkead Dies Following Long Illness, Aged 49

Roy Bryson Kinkead, 49, died on Wednesday of last week at his home following a year’s illness. He had been bedfast the last seven months.

Born March 3, 1891 at Centralia, Mo., a son of William and Betty (Russell) Kinkead, he was married Dec. 24, 1911 to Edie Weese, who survives. Children are: Harold and Betty, at home, and Herbert, who is stationed at the CCC camp in Havana. Also surviving are his mother, two brothers, S. A. and Maurice Kinkead and a sister, Mrs. Ida McDaniels, all of Centralia, Mo.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Christian church by the Rev. J. A. Brubeck. Burial in the Summum cemetery.

Passed Away

Roy Kinkead, who has been seriously ill at his home for the past several months, passed away at about 12:30 this afternoon. He is survived by his wife and three children, two sons and a daughter.
