She was born Sept. 13, 1927, in Schuyler County, a daughter of Ora Marvin and Goldie Pipinger Knous. She married Morland Jones on June 2, 1947, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2010.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Sharon Jones; one son, Sheldon Jones; three brothers, Charles, Merle and Melvin Knous; and three sisters, Delores Paben, Verna Belle Lisenbee and Myrtle Peacock.
Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Ann (and John) Zulauf of Clinton, Mo.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Friday at the family lot in the Rushville City Cemetery with Rev. Dixie Croxton officiating. The Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
