F. W. “Jack” Johnson Of Table Grove Dies

Floyd Wilson “Jack” Johnson, 77, of Table Grove, died at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 1980, at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria.

He was born Aug. 25, 1902, in McDonough County to Orville and Elizabeth Wilson Johnson and married Ethelyn Hammond Nov. 6, 1923. She died Aug. 15, 1957. He then married Nina Myers in Havana Oct. 14, 1961. She survives.

He was vice president of Table Grove State Bank, having worked there 58 years.

Other survivors are two sons, Dean of Lewistown, and Ronald of Cuba; one stepson, Jack Myers of Ipava; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Blanche Hay of Macomb, Mrs. Dorla Klusman of Sun City, Ariz., and Mrs. Maxine Wood of Chicago; and one brother, Dwight Johnson of Vermont.

One sister preceded him in death.

Memorials may be made to the Table Grove Church remodeling fund.

Funeral services were to be held at 10:30 a.m. this morning at the Table Grove Community Church with Rev. Carl Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery.
