Mrs. Edward Johnson Died At Her Home Here

Mrs. Sarah Johnson, 69, died Sunday at her home in the northeast part of town, following a five weeks illness. She had been in failing health for the past two years.

Mrs. Johnson was born Feb. 12, 1871 in Bernadotte township, daughter of Jacob and Margaret (Monroe) White. She was married Feb. 15, 1890 in Bernadotte township, to Edward Johnson, who survives. Children are Mrs. Ethel Hopping, Vermont; Mrs. Rachel Chambers, Bushnell; Mrs. Cavadas Seward, Astoria, and Cecil Johnson, of Bernadotte. She was the last survivor of a family of six children.

Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m., at the Bernadotte church by the Rev. Lulu Hullet of Bushnell. Burial in Randall cemetery near Bernadotte.
