He was born Feb. 8, 1963, in Rushville, a son of Dale and Doris Harn Hammack. He married Tracey Peek on July 8, 2011, in Rushville. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Cady (and Kalli) Hammack of Seguin, Texas; one stepdaughter, Sasha (and James) Backstein of Riverton; one stepson, Albert (and Shelby) Peek of Mechanicsburg; two brothers, Marvin (and Sue) Hammack of Browning and David (and Juanita) Hammack of Astoria; and 12 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Stephanie Michele McCombs; his parents; one grandson, Lucas Backstein; and one brother, Tim Hollis.
He was the owner and operator of Best Rate Welding in Astoria.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria.
