She was born April 23, 1935, in Beardstown, a daughter of Roy and Fern Danner Sullivan. She married William R. Hammond on Feb. 18, 1955, in Lewistown. He preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 2007.
She also was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Evans.
Surviving are two sons, William Alan Hammond of Big Rock, Tenn., and Mark Hammond of Manito.
She was a 1953 graduate of Astoria High School and was a member of the Astoria High School Band. She also was a member of Astoria Church of the Brethren.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Matthew Thiner officiating. Burial was in the Woodland Cemetery.
