He was born June 2, 1943, in Fulton County, a son of Garry and Naomi Brehm Heath. He married Alice Jean Force on Nov. 22, 1963, in Summum. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Kathryn (and Sam) Dancer of Jacksonville; one son, Cory (and Suzanne) Heath of Lewisberg, Pa.; two siblings, Eldon Heath of Canton and Shirley Tyler of Napa, Calif.; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
He was a member of Havana Church of Christ. He worked for International Harvester until his retirement. After he retired, he worked as a carpenter and handyman in the Havana area.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Friday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana with Pastor Bill Boyce officiating.
Memorials may be made in William’s name to the Christian Motorcycle Association’s Run for the Son.
