He was born Nov. 3, 1965, in Macomb to Eldon Laverne and Linda Lou Beam Howard. He married Mary Elizabeth White on Oct. 10, 2003, in McLean. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, Lillian Adele “Addie” Howard and Mason Louis Howard; his parents, Eldon and Linda Howard of Ipava; one sister, Kelli (and Mark) O’Hara of Lake Villa; one brother, Rod Howard of Galesburg; and maternal grandmother, Mary Beam of Smithfield.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Lori Ann Fulton; and one cousin, Brett Beam.
He was a Data Base Administrator at State Farm Insurance Company.
He was a Charter member of State Farm Talk of the South Toastmasters where he served as a board member over many years. He obtained the highest designation of Distinguished Toastmaster and was voted Toastmaster of the Year. He also was a member of Tuesday Men’s Coffee Club and Calvary United Methodist Church.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Calvert and Metzler Memorial Home in Bloomington. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, and from 10-11 a.m. prior to the services on Thursday.
