PAULINE (APPLEGATE) HEATON

Pauline Heaton

Pauline Heaton, 80, of Havana died at 8:42 p.m. May 28, 2010, at Mason District Hospital in Havana.

She was born March 22, 1930, in Eureka, the daughter of Paul and Lenore Young Applegate. She married Charles E. Heaton on April 21, 1948. He preceded her in death on June 3, 1996.

Surviving are three daughters, Brenda (and Lloyd) Robinson of Monmouth, LaRita (and Robert) Maloney of Bushnell and Pat (and Steve) Yost of Havana; two sons, Ronald Heaton of Texas and Eldon Heaton of Indianapolis, Ind.; two brothers, Donald (and Loretta) Applegate of Baton Rouge, La., and Richard A. Applegate of Converse, Texas; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Rodney, Robert, Harold and Alfred Applegate.

She worked at the Vermont Foundry for 34 years.

Services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Gary Sheets officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the memorial home. Burial will be at Vermont Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Vermont Rescue Squad.
