John HadsallJohn S. Hadsall, 85, of Lewistown died at 8:47 a.m. March 3, 2010, at Prairieview Care Center in Lewistown.

He was born March 31, 1924, in Lewistown, a son of Lawrence and Feena Glowner Hadsall. He married Virginia E. Harding on April 18, 1943, in Lewistown. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, John (and Phyllis) Hadsall of Sublet; two daughters, Esther (and Robert) Brush Jr. and Rochelle (and Todd) Jones, both of Lewistown; two brothers, Harrel (and Jonie) Hadsall of Hannibal, Mo., and Samuel (and Gayle) Hadsall of Payson; one sister, Berniece (and Fred) McKane of Columbia, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by one grandchild, six brothers and five sisters.

He was a World War II Army veteran.

He retired from Caterpillar Mapleton plant in 1977.

He was a member of UAW Local 974.

Services were held Saturday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Charles Hadsall officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery will military rites conducted by Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and American Legion Bishop Post 1.
