ROSALIND B. (EVERHART) OTTO LOGUE HAMMACK

Rosalind B. Hammack, 83, of Astoria died at 6:24 p.m. July 4, 2007, at Maple Ridge Care Center in Lincoln.

She was born Feb. 24, 1924, in Chandlerville, a daughter of William and Gertrude Lane Everhart. She married James F. Otto on July 2, 1941. She then married Ivan L. Logue on Nov. 8, 1963. She then married Dale M. Hammack on Nov. 18, 1978, in Chandlerville. He died June 6, 2001.

She also was preceded in death by one son, James Otto; one daughter, Delores Bailey; three sisters; and one brother.

Surviving are two sons, David (and Irma) Otto of Carlinville and Cecil Otto of Chanderville; three stepsons, Marvin (and Sue Ann) Hammack of Browning and David (and Juanita) Hammack and Raymond Hammock, both of Astoria; 14 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

She was a 1941 graduate of Chandlerville High School.

She was a certified nurses aide, working at Menard Convalescent Center and Shamel Manor, both in Petersburg.

Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery in Astoria.
