Glenn W. "Bill" Hulvey Jr., 58, of Anniston, Ala., died at 1:57 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2006, at Regional Medical Center emergency room in Anniston.

He was born June 27, 1947, in Macomb, the son of Glenn W. and Betty June Farwell Hulvey.

Surviving are one son, Gabrial of Michigan; four sisters, Rose (and Rick) Trivette of Fall Branch, Tenn., Carolyn (and Walt) Latzke of Edwardsburg, Mich., Sharon Mustread of Lewistown and Joyce (and Gerry) Peacock of Lincoln; one stepdaughter, Kelly Cardwell of Alabama; one stepson, Bruce Cardwell of Alabama; one special grandson, Shawn; and several grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Billie Ray; and an infant daughter, Beth.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was a self-employed mechanic and worked in a factory in Talladega, Ala.

Graveside services will be held at noon Wednesday at Astoria Cemetery in Astoria with military rites conducted by Astoria American Legion Post No. 25. Pastor Martin Janicke will officiate. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Astoria Township Cemetery Association.
