Virginia M. Hickle, 87, of Macomb died at 11:25 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at McDonough District Hospital.
She was born March 4, 1917, in Monmouth, a daughter of Howard E. and Mary Ann Lane Hoyt. She married William H. Hickle on Sept. 12, 1942, in Palmyra, Mo. He died Jan. 29, 1992.
She also was preceded in death by four brothers, Gerald, Lawrence, Homer and Ralph; and two sisters, Dorothy Parkins and Hazel Smith.
Surviving are one son, William (and Lynette) of Astoria; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was a charter member of Argyle Antique Gas Engine Association and worked at Dy-Rite Laundry.
Services were held Saturday at Sargent-Worthington Funeral Home in Macomb. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the McDonough District Hospital Hospice Program.
