Stan Allen Haney, 56, of Havana, died at 11:28 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 1998, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
He was born Aug. 26, 1941, in McDonough County, a son of Perry and Betty Haney.
Surviving are his parents of Rushville; Judy Ladd, with whom he made his home for the past 21 years; three sons, Brock and Mark Ladd, both of Havana, and Shannon Haney of Crystal Lake; four daughters, Amanda Ladd, Angela Hallmark and Monica Ladd, all of Havana, and Shelly Schaubel of Naperville; one brother, Ed of Norris; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Bernard “Buddy” Haney, an infant brother, Larry, and one sister, Mrs. Roger (Geneva) Wilson.
He was a self-employed carpenter and contractor.
Services were held Saturday at Hurley Funeral Home with Warren Hughes officiating. Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
