LEWIS BURDETTE HOLLENBACK

Lewis B. Hollenback, 72, of Adair, Ill. died Friday, Aug. 15, 1997 at 1:15 a.m. at the McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

He was born on June 9, 1925 in Table Grove, a son of Homer and Fern Callihan Hollenback. He married Margie Goddard on April 18, 1959 in Bushnell, Ill. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Randy Hollenback and Newton Hollenback, both of Bushnell; three daughters, Bonnie Dupree of Florida; Mrs. Rusty (Rhonda) Carnes of Colchester; and Juanita Fox of Adair; one brother, Roy Hollenback of Table Grove; one sister, Wanda Skiles of Summum; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Gene and one sister, Pansy.

He was a member of T.J. Picket Lodge 307 AF & AM, Lamoine Saddle Club, Quincy Consistory, Carroll Rankin Post 26 American Legion, and was a member of the Democratic Party. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and Korea. He was a self-employed truck driver.

Graveside services were held Monday at the Table Grove Cemetery, with Rev. Ron Green officiating. Military rites were conducted by his Legion Post.

A memorial fund has been established in his memory at the Table Grove State Bank.
