Roy R. Heitz, 79, of Vermont, died at 9:40 p.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 1975, at his residence.
Funeral services were held Monday at Vermont Methodist Church with Rev. E. L. Dunavin officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 11, 1895, a son of Ernest and Salome Parr Heitz. He married Vernie Jones on March 31, 1917, at Lewistown. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Roy L. of Cuba and Cecil of Vermont; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Three brothers preceded him in death.
Mr. Heitz was a farmer. He was a member of Vermont Methodist Church and Betterway Class of the church.
