Mrs. Mary E. Heflin, 84, a patient at Astoria Care Center in Astoria, formerly of Vermont, died at 2:20 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Care Center.
She was born in Ipava, Nov. 11, 1889, a daughter of Eber W. and Isabel Glore Pratt. She married Edward B. Heflin. He died Sept. 25, 1953.
Surviving are one son, Jack of Astoria, and three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Lawver of Canton, Mrs. Mildred Piehler of Peoria and Mrs. Margaret Foote of Billings, Mont.
One son, two daughters and four sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Heflin was a member of Vermont Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kost Memorial Home with Rev. C. H. Anderson officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
