Tambra GallionTambra Jean Gallion, 60, of Bon Aqua, Tenn., died at 3:10 p.m. March 26, 2019, at her home.

She was born Feb. 15, 1959, at the Whiteman Air Force Base in Johnson County, Mo., a daughter of Jackie Junior Smith and Peggy Maurine Hickle Smith.

Surviving are her children, Cassie Jo Rennick of New Holland, Jessica Kay (and Joel) Sassman of East Peoria, Patrica Lynn Haynes of Lincoln, Richard Gallion Jr. and AJ Vaughn of Bon Aqua, Tenn.; three sisters, Sherry (and Gary) Stice of Keokuk, Iowa, Laura Holmes of Bon Aqua, Tenn., and Wendy Thrailkill; and four brothers, Jason (and Laura) Cluney of Beardstown, Scott (and Brandie) Smith of Huntingburg, Ind., Larry (and Vickie) Cluney Jr. of Laclede, Mo., and Billie (and Corena) Cluney of Panama City, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Since 1997, she was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Nashville, Tenn. Her father was in the Air Force and the family moved around the country, living in Missouri, Illinois, Germany, Washington D.C. and Delaware.

After her parent’s divorce, she lived with her mother in Illinois. She completed the 10th grade of high school, leaving because she didn’t like school and was “coming of age” in the 70s. After the birth of her fifth child, she chose to further her education by getting her GED on April 2, 1998, and a Career Readiness Certificate from the Tennessee College of Applied Technology on May 21, 2009.

A Celebration of Life will be hosted by her family at a later date.
