Maxine GreuelMaxine Greuel, 96, of Macomb, formerly of Industry, died at 4:35 p.m. Dec. 29, 2015, at Wesley Village Healthcare Center in Macomb.

She was born April 8, 1919, in Astoria, a daughter of Dewey Perry and Alma Gruber Litchfield. She married Lloyd Greuel on April 20, 1938, in Davenport, Iowa. He preceded her in death on Oct. 26, 1979.

She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Janice Jo Greuel; one brother, Deane Litchfield; and one sister, Mary Botts.

Surviving are three sons, Jere (and Paula) Greuel and Joe (and Annette) Greuel, both of Industry and Gene (and Joyia) Greuel of Macomb; one sister, Millie Beans of Vermont; two brothers, Maurice (and Georgia) Litchfield of Industry and Marshall (and Joyce) Litchfield of Macomb; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She lived all of her married life in Industry before moving to Wesley Village in 2011.

She was a member of Industry United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Industry Women’s Club and the WCTU.

Funeral services were held Saturday at her church with Reverend Steve Granadosin officiating. Burial was in the Industry Cemetery. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb was in charge of arrangements.
