He was born Oct. 9, 1966, in Rushville, a son of William and Madge Vincent Gossage. He married Cassie Powell in Galesburg.
Surviving are two sons, Timothy Gossage and Alexander Gossage, both of Galesburg; one sister, Loretta Surratt of Monmouth; and four brothers, William Gossage Jr. and Jimmy (and Ann) Gossage, both of Galesburg, and Jack Gossage and Tom Gossage, both of Vermont.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Gossage; and his parents.
He was a cook at a restaurant.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services on Wednesday. Burial will be in Ridgeville Cemetery in Browning.
