She was born April 26, 1921, a daughter of Thomas G. and Josephine “Josie” Bohannon. She married Glade D. Groff on Aug. 28, 1940, in Palmyra, Mo. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2006.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Ruth Ann Frey; one brother, Bob Bohannon; and one great-granddaughter.
Surviving are two sons, Tom (and Sandy) Groff of Bartonville and Gary (and Barbara) Groff of Arlington, Texas; three grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 18 step great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and three step great-great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and farmer’s wife.
She was a member of Ipava Christian Church where she taught Sunday school.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at her church with Pastor Kevin Kessler officiating. Burial will be in Ipava Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
