Dorothy M. Goddard, 73, of Canton died at 1:59 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born May 13, 1930, in Astoria Township, a daughter of Theodore and Rose Lau Vaughn.
Surviving are three sons, Scott (and Julie) Jenkins of Canton, Gregory (and Christy) Jenkins of Muscatine, Iowa, and Gary (and Marilyn) Jenkins of Algona, Wash.; one daughter, Cathy (and Terry) Haynes of Manito; 12 grandchildren; one brother, Paul Vaughn of Canton; and three sisters, Sara Rosich, Lois Vaughn and Evelyn Behm, all of Canton.
She was preceded in death by one son, Andrew Gomolak.
She retired from Illinois Bell as an operator.
She was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter 784.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Canton.
A memorial service was held Monday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. Maureen Stein officiating. Cremation has been accorded.
Memorials may be made to the Wellness Center of Graham Hospital.
