JAMES FRANKLIN GENSEAL

James Genseal

James Franklin Genseal, 90, of Turlock, Calif., died on June 29, 2002, at Covenant Village Care Center.

He was born May 22, 1912, in Baxter, Iowa, a son of Dick and Bessie Genseal. He married Juanita Belville on Oct. 17, 1933. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Phyllis (and Dale) Larson and Karen (and Paul) Springer; one daughter-in-law, Lillian Genseal-Ritchey; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Silbert, Glenn and George Genseal; and one sister, Genne Ridgeway.

He was preceded in death by a son, John.

He attended school in Beardstown.

He was a seed corn salesman for Pheister Hybrid. He moved to Livingston, Calif., in 1949, and was a foreman at Westlock Turkey Breeding Farms, now known as Swanson Farms, where he worked for 20 years, eventually becoming ranch manager. After retiring, he sold advertising for Frank Alexander and worked for Turlock Concrete.

He was a member of Turlock (Beulah) Covenant Church.
