Guy L. Gilson, 68, of Astoria, died at 5:55 a.m. Saturday, Apr. 25, 1981, at Springfield Memorial Medical Center.
Born May 12, 1912, in Fulton County, he was the son of John and Nellie Samuels Gilson.
Surviving is one niece, Mrs. Walter (Letafern) Pile of Bowen.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
He formerly worked for Astoria Fibra Steel, Inc.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Collis Trone officiating. Burial was in the Summum Cemetery.
