He was born Aug. 5, 1951, in Macomb, a son of Leland and Ruby Chenoweth Frederick. He married Mary Kirkpatrick. She survives.
Also surviving are two children, Chad (and Ashley) Frederick and April (and Bob) Coulter; two sisters, Kathy (and Herb) Snowden and Cindy (and Matt) Stribley; one brother, Gary (and Rhonda) Frederick; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Makenze Coulter.
He worked and retired from NTN Bower Corporation in Macomb.
He was a longtime member of the Emmaus Community and the Berean Christian Church where he was in charge of the Adult Education Department.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Ipava Berean Christian Church. A visitation will take place from 2-4 p.m. before the service on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Table Grove Rescue Squad.
