He was born July 11, 1951, in Canton, a son of Delbert and Wanda (Cooper) Fawcett. He married Brenda Parr on Nov. 18, 1983, in Lewistown. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Sonya (and Shad) Marshall of Iowa and Abbie Fawcett of Ipava; two sons, Chris (and Mandy) Fawcett and Robert Fawcett, both of Table Grove; one stepson, Larry Taylor of Quincy; one stepdaughter, Lori Rodriquez of Astoria; his mother; two sisters, Betty (and Jaime) Cercone of Lewistown and Barbara Jones of Macomb; two brothers, Bill (and Melissa) Fawcett of Astoria and Ben (and Gretchen) Fawcett of Ipava; 15 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert “Bud” Fawcett.
He was a heavy equipment operator, working at Central Stone Rock Quarry in Colchester, Tennessee and Carthage for 45 years.
He was a member of Local #649 Operating Engineers. He was a 1969 graduate of VIT High School.
Per his request, cremation rites have been accorded and no services are planned. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
