Doris E. Foster, 85, of Canton, died at 10:55 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999 at Graham Hospital.
She was born Nov. 30, 1913, in Richmond, Kan., the daughter of Arthur and Ethel Baker Foster.
Surviving are two brothers, Harold Foster of Astoria and John Foster of Canton; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
She worked in the laundry department at Graham Hospital for 27 years. She also was a custodian at Canton High School for eight years before retiring in 1978.
Services were held Friday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home with Gene Danner officiating. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery in rural Astoria.
