Emanuel Fitz, a former Astoria resident, died in a hospital at Hastings, Nebr., on June 6th, aged 82 years. He was born in Woodland township and was a carpenter by trade.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Amanda Fitz and daughter, Mrs. Bula Stambaugh, both of Astoria, and one brother, Ephraim Fitz of Red Cloud, Nebr.
Funeral services were held at Red Cloud. Interment in city cemetery.
