She was born Jan. 11, 1948, in Canton, a daughter of Lyle D. and Irma Foutch Salisbury.
Surviving are her mother, Irma Salisbury of Canton; one son, Timothy (and Jaclyn) Ellis of Wentzville, Mo.; one daughter, Kimberly (and Scott) Turk of East Peoria; one sister, Janice Poloney of Canton; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lyle Salisbury; and one sister, Marilyn Howarter.
She was a graduate of Canton High School in 1965 and began working at Jack and Bills in Canton. Then worked at Graham Hospital in Canton for 19 years, working in the Human Resources Department and overseeing the hospital's chaplains and volunteers.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Kevin Kessler officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the memorial home. Burial will be in Astoria Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Graham Hospital Hospice.
