She was born July 1, 1936, in Hancock County, a daughter of Francis Eugene and Erma Cole Henry. She married Dean Lee Ellis on Nov. 10, 1960, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 2011.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford Henry.
Surviving are two sons, Donnie Ellis of Peoria and Brian Ellis of Rushville; one daughter, Judy Lynn (and Jerry) Crow of Rushville; four brothers, James Francis (and Edna) Henry of Mount Sterling, Gerald Dee Henry of St. Peters, Mo., Billy Kent (and Sue) Henry of Beardstown and Roger Lyle Henry of Alton; two sisters, Janice Mildred (and Larry) Acker of Rushville and Mary Kay (and Steve) Looker of Beardstown; four grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren.
She worked in food service at Culbertson Memorial Hospital before retiring in 1993.
She was a member of Rushville 1st Southern Baptist Church.
Services were held Monday at Rushville 1st Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Hall officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
