Mrs. Hettie M. Easley, 52, a resident of the Summum area for the last 14 years, died in the Mason District Hospital in Havana Saturday morning.
Born at Bluff Springs on Aug. 26, 1907, she was a daughter of Frank and Nancy Walters and was married to Frank J. Easley on Oct. 20, 1926. She was a member of the Summum Christian Church.
Surviving are the husband, four sons, Donald, Bader, Richard and James of Astoria, and Eddie at home; three brothers, James Walters of Beardstown, William Walters of Arenzville and Louis Walters of Rochester. Also seven grandchildren survive. Three sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Summum Christian Church with the Rev. Eugene Reynolds officiating. Burial was in the Summum Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ora Keefauver, Paul Bainter, Carl Brush, Marian Spenny, Gilbert Hoke, Harry Pinson. Mrs. Mary Baker was soloist and Mrs. Eugene Reynolds was organist.
