Mrs. Edith Elliott, a resident of Summum for 26 years, died Friday morning at her home there, following a year's illness. For many years, Mr. and Mrs. Elliott operated a store in Summum, ceasing business several years ago.
Born Sept. 1, 1873 in Havana, a daughter of Rudolph and Katherine Hackman, she was married in 1911 to Ernest Elliott, who survives, together with one daughter, Miss Lucille.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Christian church, of which she was a member, the Rev. L. A. Crown in charge. Burial in Havana cemetery.
