Lucille Cluts, 84, of Astoria, formerly of Summum, died at 6:34 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 1996, at Astoria Healthcare Center.
She was born Oct. 31, 1912, in Summum, the daughter of Ernest E. and Edith A. Hackman Elliott. She married Willard Bidle. He died May 1, 1965. She later married Jack Owens, who died March 28, 1968. She then married Roy Cluts, who died Nov. 29, 1976. One brother and one stepson also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one stepdaughter, Rosia Harrison of Rogersville, Mo.; five step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandson.
She was the postmistress for the U.S. Postal Service in Summum. She was a member of the Summum Christian Church.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Tim Worstell officiating. Burial was in Summum Cemetery.
