She was born March 11, 1934, in Fulton County, the daughter of Glenn and Verna Brillhart France. She married Victor Danner on May 7, 1954, in Astoria. He preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 2017.
She also was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Aubrey; and two brothers, Willis France and Willard France.
Surviving are one son, Scott Danner of Decatur; three grandchildren, Jason Danner, Nicole Ekiss and Jennifer Danner; and five great-grandchildren, Elana, Aiden, Ashlynn, Avery and Nolan.
Dorothy and Victor owned and operated Danner Electric Shop in Astoria from 1961-67. She also was a school secretary and most recently sold pre-need funeral plans for numerous funeral homes and businesses.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, at the Astoria Cemetery in Astoria. A visitation will take place from 10-11:30 a.m. before the service on Wednesday.
