Harry Decker, 85, of Lewistown died May 26, 2023, at his residence.
He was born July 31, 1937, in Centralia, a son of Ralph and Bessie Ann Owen Decker. He married Nancy Decker on Aug. 18, 1964, in Canton. She preceded him in death on Feb. 7, 2023.
Surviving are four daughters, Joy Harris of Beardstown, Robin (and Ernie) Warfield of Canton, Donna Howerter of Astoria and Tina (and Robin) Henderson of Lewistown; four sons, Ted (and Sabrina) Decker of Avondale, Ariz., Steven Decker of Canton, Kevin (and Billie) Decker of Bryant and Roger (and Jane) Edwards of Lewistown; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Beverly Brazel; one son, John Decker; six brothers, Ralph, Fred, Charles, Martin, Jay and Marshall; and one sister, Martha Morse.
He served in the U.S. Army and later retired as a diesel mechanic from Centre State International in Peoria.
A visitation was held Tuesday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. Cremation rites were accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. For celebration date, subscribe to his obituary. Burial of his and Nancy’s ashes will be held at Apple Cemetery at a later date.
