She was born July 14, 1940, in Canton, a daughter of William and Pearl Thompson Hickman Sr. She married Harry Decker on Aug. 18, 1964, in Canton. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Joy Harris of Beardstown, Robin (and Ernie) Warfield and Steven Decker, both of Canton, Donna Howerter of Astoria, Ted (and Sabrina) Decker of Avondale, Ariz., Kevin (and Billie) Decker of Bryant and Tina (and Robin) Henderson and Roger (and Jane) Edwards, both of Lewistown; one brother, William “Bill” Hickman Jr. of Canton; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Beverly Brazel; one son, John Decker; and two sisters, Dorothy Johnson and Janice Kruze.
She worked as a hairdresser for over 40 years, owning her own salon for 20 of those years.
A public visitation was held Friday at Sedgwick Funeral Homes and Crematory in Canton. Cremation rites was accorded.
