She was born Nov. 26, 1932, in Astoria, a daughter of Fred and Grace Adkinson Plate. She married Leroy Davison on March 14, 1949, in Havana. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2017.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Lee Plate; and three great-grandchildren.
Surviving are seven children, Joann (and Don) Burt of Sharon, Wis., Donna (and Frank) Wiljer, Colleen (and Richard) Booth, Janice (and Jeff) Ashwood, Tim (and Shannon) Davison, all of Canton, Ronald (and Margarita) Davison of Chicago and Ginger (and Duane) Graham of Lewistown; one brother, Keith (and Linda) Plate; three sisters, Edith (and the late Richard) Coleman, Joyce (and the late Jerry) Sarff and Cheryl Trone; 21 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
After she raised her children, she went back and received her GED and also got a food sanitation license. She worked as a custodian for the CUSD #66 for 19 years. She retired in 1995.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Canton.
A funeral service was held Monday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton.
