He was born April 17, 1961, in Havana, a son of Albert and Edith Peters Duckwiler. He married Lynn Crow Zufelt on Aug. 14, 2013, in Rushville. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, April Duckwiler of Havana; three stepchildren, David Edward Zufelt Jr. of Kansas City, Mo., and Danielle Denise Zufelt and Andrew Joseph Zufelt, both of Rushville; brothers and sisters, Alvin Duckwiler of Paris, Mike (and Debbie) Duckwiler of Summum, Steve (and Anita) Duckwiler of Ipava, Sara (and Dwight) Allen of Havana, Brenda (and Kirk) Thomson of Good Hope and Danny (and Lisa) Duckwiler and Sheila White, both of Havana; and one step grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Cindy Vaughn.
He worked for Big M Amusements in New Holland.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Wood Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
