She was born Sept. 12, 1921, in Rushville, a daughter of Herbert and Reba Reich Bartlow. She married Edwin Joseph Davis on May 22, 1942, in Santa Ana, Calif. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1976.
She also was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Skiles.
Surviving are one sister, Maureen Strong “Mutt”; one son, Edwin J. (and Marilyn) Davis, Jr. “Dedo” of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Penny (and David) Davis Schreck of Marietta, Ga.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She graduated from Rushville High School in 1938 and later attended business college.
She became a banker and achieved the position of cashier and vice president at LaSalle Bank of Chicago before retiring in 1983.
Graveside services were held Saturday at the family lot in Rushville City Cemetery with Rev. Steve Pichaske officiating. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
