Kay Ellen Danner, 59, of Canton died Sunday, March 21, 2004, at Graham Hospital.
She was born April 9, 1944, in Canton, a daughter of Keith R. "Buck" and Mary E. Carter Danner.
Surviving are one brother, Carter Danner of Astoria; and two sisters, Patricia (and Gene) Heaton of Vermont and Nancy Danner of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
A 1965 graduate of Graham School of Nursing, she worked at Graham Hospital for 25 years, where she worked as a nurse in the intensive care unit and as head of the emergency room. She also worked as a nursing supervisor at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was a member of Shields Chapel United Methodist Church in Canton.
Services were held Monday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. Beth Nelson officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
