Mary Frances Daniel, 66, of Havana died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at Sunset Manor in Canton.

She was born Jan. 29, 1935, in Havana, a daughter of Henry and Gladys Howell.

Surviving are two daughters, Karen Sievers and Lisa (and Jonathan) Sisson, both of Havana; two sons, Perry (and Shelly) Lerch of Canton and John (and Toni) Lerch of Peoria Heights; one stepson, Ronnie Lerch of Largo, Fla; three sisters, Betty Gilmore and Florence Burgett, both of Havana, and Anna Hammett of Youngstown, Ohio; three brothers, Ray Howell of Ipava, Loren Howell of Astoria and Lawrence Howell of Durango, Colo.; and her sister-in-law, Elsie "Lois" Howell Francisco of Havana, who helped care for her.

Several brothers, three sons and one grandchild preceded her in death.

She worked at several area businesses, including A&W, Oney's Foods, Atwood-Dana Corp. and Ag-Rain.

There will be no services or visitation. Cremation has been accorded by Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co. in Peoria.
