PEARL MARIE (FRAKES) HARDY DURELL

Pearl Durell

Pearl M. Frakes-Durell, 82, of Beardstown, died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, at Passavant Hospital in Jacksonville.

She was born Aug. 17, 1916, in Fairfield, a daughter of John and Francis M. Angel-Frakes. She married John Hardy. He preceded her in death. She later married Edward F. Durell on June 6, 1944. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Donald (Bonnie) and Junior (Connie), both of Beardstown; four daughters, Mary Kimbro of Silvis, Mrs. Glen (Martina) Westlake and Mrs. Bill (Rosie) Brockley, both of Astoria, and Mrs. Gene (Beanie) Wray of New Albany, Miss.; 24 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Sherman Hardy; a daughter, Velma Bloom; three sisters; and three brothers.

She was a homemaker.

Services were held Tuesday at Cline-Goodwin Funeral Home of Beardstown. Burial was in the City Cemetery of Beardstown.
