VeteranHarold Danner

Harold D. Danner, 76, of Table Grove died at 6:12 a.m. Sunday, May 17, 1998, at Galesburg Cottage Hospital in Galesburg.

He was born May 23, 1921, in Astoria, a son of Harry and Mary Hay Danner. He married Wilma Hummel on Aug. 27, 1956, in Jefferson City, Mo. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, William McCamant of Mount Rose, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Terry (Marjorie) Brown of Houston; two brothers, Wayne of Marietta and Donald of Table Grove; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was a farmer. A World War II Army Air Forces veteran, he was a member of Table Grove American Legion Post 413 and Macomb Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1921. He was a member of Table Grove Community Church. He also was a member of 40 et 8, Fulton County Voiture 913.

Services were held this morning at his church with Rev. Tim Ashley officiating. Burial was in Harris Cemetery, where military rites were conducted by his American Legion post.

Memorials may be made to his American Legion post or to Table Grove Rescue Squad.
